Gone But Not Forgotten ...
Our hearts go out to all the families that were killed in last Sunday nights tornado that struck several states including Van, Texas. Everywhere communities are coming together to help identify those who have lost their lives. The Garland Police Department was able to confirm that David Tapley who lost his life on Sunday night was a retired lieutenant of the Garland Police Department. He retired in 2006 after serving 22 years on the force.
David and his wife, Brenda, lived in Van, TX about an hour outside of Dallas. They were both very active within their community.
